Yoga Nidra is an ancient yogic practice that meshes guided meditation with mind-body therapy, allowing you to linger in that special space between dreaming and waking. With Yoga Nidra, you restore your body, senses, and mind to their most natural state and awaken a seventh sense that embodies wholeness, tranquility, and safety. During the first 30 minutes of this class I will guide you through a restorative practice focused on strengthening connective tissue and releasing deeply held physical tension. During the final 30 minutes of class I will guide you through the Yoga Nidra experience, which has been, scientifically proven to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, increase brain plasticity, and contribute to a higher overall sense of personal well being.
