A fun, family-friendly event that promotes environmental awareness, water conservation and sustainable living through how-to clinics, hands on learning, professional exhibits and much more. After you recycle unwanted items at Recycle Day and participate in Run the Bay, gather at Klode Park and leave only footprints as you stroll through the Eco-Fair on Saturday, May 6th.
Join us on Silver Spring Drive on select Thursdays May through September for a few extra hours of shopping (and sipping!). Businesses will stay open late and will offer wine (June and August) and beer (May, July and September) for you to enjoy. You can expect special promotions and great live music each evening.

May 25th – Amelia Ford Music – From Green Bay Wisconsin: Singer-songwriter and 2018 Nash-Next finalist, Amelia Ford mixes soft soprano with raw grit in her 50+ original pop and folk-rock songs. Often drawing vocal comparisons to Alanis Morissette, Amelia is innately musical, self-taught on guitar, piano, and bass. June 15th – The Julian Singh Project – Hailing from the Milwaukee area, The Julian Singh Project seek to converge their eclectic styles toward a revolutionary experience for listeners from all walks of life. July 20th – Lapulele – Lapulele band offers the smooth soothing Pacific sounds that the Hawaiian lap steel guitar expresses incorporating beautiful harmonies and serene sounds of happy by-gone days on a mission to spread Love and Peace throughout the Universe through the power of musical serenity. The Whitefish Bay Farmers’ Market returns Saturdays from July 15th – October 28th from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on the corner of Silver Spring at Santa Monica, 325 E. Silver Spring Drive in the Aurora Parking lot. It is an open-air market with various vendors who sell fresh and organic produce, meats, breads, flowers, honey, vegan, gluten-free, sweets, coffee, eggs, and more! Award-winning art festival production company, Amdur Productions, announces the return of the Whitefish Bay Art Fest in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin.
Hosted by the Merchants of Whitefish Bay, the festival will be held on the closed streets of the bustling downtown district of the city on Silver Spring Drive. Original artworks will be available as artist booths stretch down a beautiful tree-lined intersection near a multitude of popular cafes, boutiques, and salons. Featuring 100 juried artists from across the country, art is available for purchase in a variety of mediums including paintings, ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, sculpture, mixed media, drawings, photography, printmaking, wood, and furniture. The festival will take place Saturday, July 8, and Sunday, July 9, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm both days. Admission is FREE, and street parking will be available!
“Due to the popularity of our other Wisconsin art festival, we knew it was time to expand our offerings and create a second family-friendly event for Wisconsin residents to enjoy this summer,” says Amy Amdur, president of Amdur Productions, producer of the Whitefish Bay Art Fest. “The support of the Merchants of Whitefish Bay, along with the exciting atmosphere of downtown Whitefish Bay and its close proximity to both Chicago and Milwaukee made it the ideal location for this art show!”
The Whitefish Bay Civic Foundation kicks off the 4th of July festivities on Silver Spring Drive. The parade starts at 11:30 am at the corner of Kent and Silver Spring Dr and heads east to Lake Drive then north to Klode Park. Following the parade, join friends, family, and neighbors at Klode Park for an afternoon of food, kid’s activities, and live music. The fireworks display starts at 9:20 pm.
The longstanding tradition of the Whitefish Bay Sidewalk Sale has grown to a full-on event, featuring great shopping and super deals on distinctive merchandise. Join us and bring your family, friends, and neighbors on Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29. Enjoy great outdoor fun for all ages at our Adventure Zone on Saturday.
Presented by the Whitefish Bay Civic Foundation. Enjoy the last lazy days of summer at the Sounds of Summer Concert on Silver Spring Drive on Saturday, August 19. Silver Spring is closed from Hollywood Blvd. to Santa Monica Blvd. starting at 11:00 am. Bring your chairs, table cloths, and make it a picnic.
The last Saturday of October is when Silver Spring turns into a howling good time, with many of the merchants handing out candy to kids and their families from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. We then encourage you to stop at the Whitefish Bay Civic Foundation’s Great Pumpkin display at School House Park before or after Trick or Treating. Ghouls and goblins fill the street for the annual event (insert extended wolf howl here)!
Our biggest event of the season is held the Friday after Thanksgiving. It starts with businesses offering specials during the day for Black Friday and then ending the night with a Holiday Parade ending with Santa. Businesses along the street offer hot cider, hot chocolate, activities for families and Nutcracker Ballet Dancers from the Milwaukee School of Ballet that perform in storefront windows. Following the parade, there is the Holiday Tree Lighting with the WFBHS Choir singing carols.
